0930   Ben Burge: Easter Morning: Just As He Said  (Matthew 28:1-15)  (Venue: All Saints)

Come people of the risen King
Who delight to bring Him praise;
Come all and tune your hearts to sing
To the Morning Star of grace.
From the shifting shadows of the earth
We will lift our eyes to Him,
Where steady arms of mercy reach
To gather children in.

Rejoice, Rejoice! Let every tongue rejoice!
One heart, one voice;
O Church of Christ, rejoice!

Come, those whose joy is morning sun,
And those weeping through the night;
Come, those who tell of battles won,
And those struggling in the fight.
For His perfect love will never change,
And His mercies never cease,
But follow us through all our days
With the certain hope of peace.

Rejoice, Rejoice! Let every tongue rejoice!
One heart, one voice;
O Church of Christ, rejoice!

Come, young and old from every land
Men and women of the faith;
Come, those with full or empty hands
Find the riches of His grace.
Over all the world, His people sing
Shore to shore we hear them call
The Truth that cries through every age:
"Our God is all in all"!

Rejoice, Rejoice! Let every tongue rejoice!
One heart, one voice;
O Church of Christ, rejoice!

At Your feet we fall, mighty risen Lord,
As we come before Your Throne to worship You.
By Your Spirit's power You now draw our hearts,
And we hear Your voice with triumph ringing clear.

I am He that liveth,
That liveth and was dead.
Behold, I am alive for evermore.

There we see You stand, mighty risen Lord,
Clothed in garments pure and holy, shining bright.
Eyes of flashing fire, feet like burnished bronze,
And the sound of many waters is Your voice.

I am He that liveth,
That liveth and was dead.
Behold, I am alive for evermore.

Like the shining sun in its noonday strength,
We now see the glory of Your wondrous face.
Once that face was marred, but now You're glorified,
And Your words like a two-edged sword have mighty power.

I am He that liveth,
That liveth and was dead.
Behold, I am alive for evermore.

Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
Endless is the victory Thou o'er death hast won.
Angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
Kept the folded grave-clothes, where Thy body lay.

Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
Endless is the victory Thou o'er death hast won!

Lo! Jesus meets us, risen from the tomb;
Lovingly He greets us, scatters fear and gloom.
Let the church with gladness hymns of triumph sing,
For her Lord now liveth, death hath lost its sting.

Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
Endless is the victory Thou o'er death hast won!

No more we doubt Thee, glorious Prince of life;
Life is nought without Thee: aid us in our strife;
Make us more than conquerors, through Thy deathless love;
Bring us safe through Jordan to Thy home above.

Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
Endless is the victory Thou o'er death hast won!

Thank You, Jesus, thank You Jesus,
Thank You Lord, for loving me.
Thank You, Jesus, thank You Jesus,
Thank You Lord, for loving me.

You went to Calvary, there You died for me.
Thank You Lord, for loving me.
You went to Calvary, there You died for me.
Thank You Lord, for loving me.

You rose up from the grave, to me new life You gave,
Thank You Lord, for loving me.
You rose up from the grave, to me new life You gave,
Thank You Lord, for loving me.

You're coming back again, and we with You shall reign.
Thank You Lord, for loving me.
You're coming back again, and we with You shall reign.
Thank You Lord, for loving me.

See what a morning, gloriously bright,
With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem;
Folded the grave-clothes, tomb filled with light,
As the angels announce Christ is risen!
See God's salvation plan,
Wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice,
Fulfilled in Christ, the Man,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

See Mary weeping, 'Where is He laid?'
As in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb;
Hears a voice speaking, calling her name;
It's the Master, the Lord raised to life again!
The voice that spans the years,
Speaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us,
Will sound till He appears,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

One with the Father, Ancient of Days,
Through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty,
Honour and blessing, glory and praise
To the King crowned with power and authority!
And we are raised with Him,
Death is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered;
And we shall reign with Him,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

I know that my Redeemer lives:
What joy the blest assurance gives!
He lives, He lives, who once was dead;
He lives, my everlasting Head.

He lives triumphant from the grave;
He lives, eternally to save;
He lives, all-glorious in the sky;
He lives, exalted there on high.

He lives to bless me with His love,
And still He pleads for me above;
He lives to raise me from the grave,
And me eternally to save.

He lives, my kind, wise, constant Friend,
Who still will keep me to the end;
He lives, and while He lives I’ll sing,
Jesus, my Prophet, Priest, and King.

He lives my mansion to prepare;
And He will bring me safely there;
He lives, all glory to His Name!
Jesus, unchangeably the same!
